BP to shed two more businesses

BP Amoco has announced plans to sell off its high-performance engineering polymers and carbon fibres businesses, as part of its continuing efforts to focus on its hydrocarbon operations. Both businesses are based in the US and sell into markets such as aerospace and sporting goods.
