Monitoring waste flows
22 Aug 2000
Making its debut at an ET show, flow and level specialist Krohne showed part of its wide range of flowmeters designed specially for water and wastewater applications. Electromagnetic, ultrasonic and Coriolis meters were featured - all capable of offering repeatable, reliable and adaptable flow measurements.
Introduced to the waste industry was a two-wire hybrid electromagnetic flowmeter that is said to enable the simple replacement of high maintenance orifice plates and turbines. Also on show (above) was the award-winning Tidalflux electromagnetic meter for partially filled pipelines.
