New facilities at ABB Instrumentation's site in Workington, Cumbria, will allow industrial flowmeter users to keep their instruments operating with the accuracy they require. The facility offers recalibration services for any make of flowmeter, with instruments for testing and certifying electromagnetic, vortex, variable swirl and differential pressure meters to NAMAS-accredited standards. The Workington site was absorbed into ABB following the recent Elsag Bailey acquisition; the manufacturing operations which used to be based there have now been transferred to Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
