A £3.3million exclusive contract has been awarded to John Crane by Shell for all aspects of mechanical seal management at its Stanlow refinery, near Liverpool. Over the last four years, John Crane, a subsidiary of the TI Group, has taken on more responsibility for seal reliability. The latest agreement covers all 1900 pumps at the refinery.
