Lucky strike at gas plant

BG Storage has installed a back-up system to its gas processing terminal in Solihull after lightning struck, disabling its existing control system. Honeywell was chosen to engineer and install a PlantScape system to provide a limited control system to backup the most critical loops at the plant. The system was installed in less than a week as BG Storage needed a back-up system as soon as possible.
