Loop power-up for sensors

The new PA series of loop-powered pressure sensors from IFM Electronic requires a simple two-wire connection and provides a standard 4-20mA analogue output signal.
The sensors incorporate IFM's proven ceramic-cell sensing technology and are housed in a robust cylindrical stainless steel body. They are suitable for use in both pneumatic and hydraulic systems and are available in seven versions which, between them, cover pressures up to 400bar.
All the PA sensors give a linear analogue output with an accuracy better than +/-1 per cent of their full-range pressure.
