Dashing to the rescue of gauges
22 Aug 2000
Bourdon Sedeme's complete range of process pressure gauges is fitted with a device to control any abnormal pulsations or vibrations in the system. Replacing both liquid filling and pulsation dampeners, the Dashpot device works like a `windmill' acting against silicone grease in a small cylinder attached to the gauge movement. It works at ambient temperatures from -30 degrees to 100 degrees C with compatible process temperatures.
Typical applications include pump and compressor systems.
