CVC looks at ICI Halochemicals

Venture capital group CVC is considering buying ICI's Runcorn-based halochemicals division for around £300million. The business, one of the few remaining industrial chemicals operations within ICI, turns over some £600million per year, including £150million for the Klea CFC replacement business.
