Shell to build Cardura plant
22 Aug 2000
Shell Chemicals has announced plans to build a new facility for its E10 glycidiester, Cardura, situated near its acetic acid plant at Pernis, the Netherlands. Replacing a smaller unit, the plant will offer a higher-purity product than is currently available. The product is used to modify the physical properties of automotive and industrial coatings, and epoxy resins. The new plant will come on-stream late next year.
