Sanderson to step down

BP Amoco Chemicals chairman Bryan Sanderson is to retire at the end of September. He will be replaced by current group executive vice-presdient Byron Grote. From the Amoco side of the company, Grote was previously responsible for overseeing the post-merger integration of the two companies. Sanderson expects to spend more time with Sunderland FC, whose plc he chairs.
