SI goes down Mexico way
22 Aug 2000
Calibration specialist SI Pressure Instuments has supplied a number of products to Pemex, the largest company in Mexico and one of the five biggest petroleum companies in the world.
The equipment supplied includes a 6000L deadweight tester (pictured), TP1 pneumatic pumps and TPG pressure gauges. The portable 6000L can be supplied in a light-weight durable aluminium carrying case with accuracy options of 0.01 per cent and 0.025 per cent of reading within the range -1000mbar to +2000mbar. The unit can be supplied with NIST, NPL or NAMAS traceability. It is being used on a variety of calibration duties by Pemex.
Continuing the company's trans-Atlantic success, SI's current UK and European sales manager James Chandler is to head up SI's second US office in Houston, just months after the company opened its first in California.
