Medal for AEA fluidics pioneer

The Royal Academy of Engineering has awarded a silver medal to Mike Bowe, business manager for advanced process systems at AEA Technology, for his pioneering work in the field of power fluidics. The technique, which uses hydrodynamic forces to power process operations without the need for moving parts, is central to a £4million/yr businesss.
