REACHReady, to help industry to comply with Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) regulations
London — The Chemical Industries Association has launched a services company, called REACHReady, to help industry to comply with the REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) regulations which are due to come into force in the first half of 2007.
REACHReady will help clients to identify which products fall within the scope of REACH, the likely costs of compliance and where to locate appropriate service providers, said a 17 March CIA announcement.
“REACHReady will offer a first-class service to its customers, enabling them to not only respond positively to this legislation but to gain a competitive edge over those who are slower off the mark,” claimed Steve Elliott, CIA chief executive, in a press statement.
