Incorporating busbars with ratings from 800 amps to 1800 amps, and manufactured from hard drawn copper, a Rittal MCC offers safe operation under fault conditions up to 50kA for 1 second, with separation up to form 4b Type 7 (BS EN 60439-1).
An innovative internal compartment system allows easy and rapid adjustment of mounting plates due to a sliding rail system. Even the cable chambers offer lots of room for accessibility. With a wide choice of compartment sizes from 200 mm through to 2000 mm a well-engineered and cost effective solution is achieved with endless possibilities.
Options include mounting and connection of the main incoming protective device and mounting of individual compartment MCCB’s, fuse switches or similar singular devices, along with their associated door handles. The removal of a high percentage of labour allows the completion of the MCC with a minimum amount of time to ensure rapid delivery.
