Clifford & Snell Receives Prestigious BSI Award

Leading UK manufacturer of audible and visual alarms, Clifford & Snell, a division of Signature Industries, has received the prestigious Kitemark award. Credited with introducing the very first electronic sounder in 1967, this London-based company started a new era of design and development of emergency alarms and it continues to aspire to gain the foremost global Approvals including UL, CSA, ATEX and, for the Russian market, the newly attained GOST Approval.

According to Trevor Gage, Director and General Manager, Clifford & Snell, the EN54 Part 3 award that has been bestowed on the company is going to be one of the key elements in terms of marketing product within the European Union. “This Kitemark award will be of considerable benefit to our company and we are delighted to receive it within a market sector that is highly competitive", he said. “We have worked tremendously hard over the past few years to develop new products and have increased our distributor base substantially in order to provide a high level of customer service."
