BSS set to BOSS the valve market

BSS, the leading pipeline and heating distributor, has updated its own-brand BOSS range by adding two new ball valves to its stock.
The new additions to the BOSS product range are two ball valves: a one-piece valve with a reduced bore and a full bore three-piece valve. Both valves are cast in stainless steel to a high quality and are available at a competitive price from the nationwide network of BSS branches.
The one-piece reduced bore valves come in sizes from 15mm to 200mm ANSI 150 & 300 and are NACE MR0175 compliant. Bi-directionally fire safe to API607 4th edition and cast in carbon and stainless steel with a PTFE 15% glass seat, the reduced bore valve is more than suitable for its task.
Pressure rated to 1000psi with a blow-out proof stem and adjustable stem packing, the three piece valve is able to cope with high pressure fluid transfer. The valve is also compliant with MRO175 and made from investment castings in stainless steel to ASTM A358 grade CF8M and is available in a range of sizes from 15mm to 50mm.
Both valves are operated by lockable levers, for extra security, and fitted solid balls. They both also incorporate an ISO 5211 actuator mounting platform with double ‘D’ stems and anti-static devices with grounding balls and stems.
The BOSS ball valves are set to offer economical and high quality products to the competitive ball valve market, increasing choice for BSS customers.
