Centriquip Adds New High Volume Model to Decanter Centrifuge Range

Centriquip, the UK’s largest manufacturer of decanter centrifuges has added a new model to its range. The CQ 6000 offers processing volumes of 60 cubic metres per hour, 25% higher than the smaller CQ5000, currently Centriquip’s most popular model. An even larger unit will be launched early in 2006 to complement Centriquip’s impressive line-up.

Centrifugal decanters are used throughout industry for liquid/solid separation particularly where feeds have a high and variable solids content. This new member of the Centriquip family will further enhance the Derbyshire company’s position as a leading supplier of decanters for handling effluent sludge, separating solids from waste and process water, or for juice extraction within the food and drink industry.

The new machine, in common with the rest of the Centriquip range, is available in either Duplex stainless steel or High Grade Carbon steel to suit a wide variety of applications. All Centriquip centrifuges feature a hydraulic scroll drive system that enables automatic control of the solids discharge rate and provides optimum performance and reliability. It is common practice for the machines to run without operator supervision 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Centriquip also provides a complete service and repair service for any make of decanter centrifuge. As the UK’s largest manufacturer its service is reliable and flexible; turn-round times are often much faster than those offered by the original equipment manufacturer.
