Global pump manufacturer, Grundfos have recently extended their range of sanitary pumps with the new single stage end suction centrifugal pump - F&B-Hygia (Food & Beverage).
Compact in design and made from AISA 316 stainless steel, the F&B-Hygia is both mobile and easy to install in any system. It is suitable for a number of industries including:
Beverages – Beer, soft drinks, alcohol, wine, fruit drinks, yeast
Dairies – Milk, whey, cream, condensed milk
Confectionary – Syrup, sugar solutions
Meat packing – Liquid fat, oil, smokehouse spray, blood processing
The F&B-Hygia has been designed to meet the strict hygiene requirements within the food and beverage industries. To comply with the regulations, the pump has been designed using the recommendations from the 3A sanitary standard and European Hygienic Design Group (EHEDG).
