It is suitable for tasks like remote maintenance and monitoring, remote configuration and decentral data acquisition. Its RS232 interface allows the modem to be connected to almost any PLC. By default, it comes equipped with two interrupt inputs and two switching outputs for relays. The modem can send 10 alarm messages via email, fax or SMS to 10 different recipients.
