Air Liquide prefers Yokogawa

Engineering division selects Japanese group as a preferred supplier of process control systems for air separation units and syngas systems.
Tokyo — Air Liquide Engineering, based in Champigny, France, has selected Yokogawa Electric Corp. of Tokyo as a preferred supplier of process control systems for its air separation units and syngas (HYCO) systems.
The agreement, which can be used by all Air Liquide affiliates, covers Yokogawa’s Centum CS3000 integrated production control system, ProSafe-RS safety system, software solutions, and system integration engineering and maintenance services.
“We chose Yokogawa again as our strategic preferred control system supplier through an intensive yearlong technical and commercial evaluation process We intend to build a stronger business partnership than ever before with Yokogawa globally based on this newly signed agreement," said Leonardo Caroli, VP procurement at Air Liquide Engineering.
Air Liquide Engineering, the global engineering and construction division of Air Liquide, has full control over the design, construction and installation of the French group’s plants. The division is located in France, North America, Japan, India and China, also offers customers the possibility of integrating their gas and energy requirements by combining air gases, hydrogen, synthesis gas and cogeneration production facilities.
