New Pressure Sensor has Guaranteed Stability of ¼% per Year at 150 Degrees Celsius.
31 Aug 2006
This is achieved by using inorganic “Gauge-on-Glass” technology to achieve high stability at high temperatures. The sensor is capable of working up to 250 degrees Celsius and more.
The one-piece pressure port and sensing diaphragm does not have ‘O’ rings nor welds, so the hysteresis and non-repeatability are low. Combining this with our “Gauge-on-Glass” technology produces a very stable sensor with an accuracy of ½%. The pressure port can be made from 17-4PH or 316L stainless steel, Inconel, Hastaloy or Titanium to make the sensor useable with a variety of noxious fluids and gasses.
The model GC sensor from Control Transducers has a ratio-metric output of 100mV at 10V excitation and is available in 10 pressure ranges from 0-1.7 Bars to 0-690 Bars. It is suitable for use in many diverse applications from refrigeration controls to ink-jet printers and OEMs will find its low cost attractive.
The fully-welded case is sealed to IP66 (jet water-proof) and so it is suitable for outside installation and hose-down applications.
