Free update of eStrain Gage Catalogue now available

HBM has updated its free electronic order system for strain gages, the eStrain Gage Catalogue 2006, with the latest detailed technical information now available in four languages, English, German, Spanish, and Italian, individually selected on-line.
The free software features the latest strain gage types and helps users select and buy the correct solution for their application. The strain gage details help users select the correct strain gage and then provides a quote before culminating by generating a fax order form on request.
Plausibility control through predefined type encoding is included with the software to minimise the need for customers to make additional enquiries about their application.
Comprehensive explanations and detailed descriptions of technical solutions concerning the use of strain gages are included in the software. For example, detailed information on common strain gage configurations used in the Wheatstone bridge circuit is provided. The software can print a data sheet for every strain gage type.
As an added benefit to users, SGdirect includes a video in German and English that demonstrates every step for installing strain gages using the Z70 adhesive.
