Behind this development is the need for a retrofit monitoring station for critical alarms and preventative maintenance that will not only stand alone in its own right but also integrate, where necessary, with existing SCADA networks. The heart of the CriusTM Sentinel is in the stand alone mode where it acts as its own web server which can be linked to the company network via a TCP/IP interface. Critical alarm status is through SMS messaging to up to three recipients with message setup through a PDA or PC. A suite of communication protocols offer RS485 Modbus, Bluetooth, USB, TCP/IP, 4-20 mA and relays, Inputs from any sensor or interface offering, mA, mV, 0-5V TTL x 5 (or pulse/frequency counting with ranges [0-200, 0-2000, 0-20000].
