The Process Instruments
A requirement for continual calibration for Free Residual Chlorine measurement has been the nemesis for these analysers and now with a cleverly engineered solution and using state of the art electronics the CRIUS 3500 is able to save customers considerable sums of money by automatically calibrating the sensor at a user defined interval (daily, weekly or two weekly) with out a visit to site for a period in excess of three months.
This tried and tested measurement technology (a membraned polarographic probe), is enhanced with a third, reference, electrode which eliminates zero drift. Though pH correction is not often required, where it is required there is an option for a module which uses carbon dioxide or a more traditional acid buffer. Where preference is for correlation to a pH electrode a second input facilitates this.
The CRIUS 3500 supports most data management systems with a built in data storage capacity capable of storing data for 365 days and a vast array of communication protocols including Bluetooth, TCP/IP (with Webserver), USB, RS485, TTL, Relays and 4-20mA outputs. It is possible to interface and control the CRIUS 3500 remotely, enabling data, alarms and setup information to be sent direct to your computer, PDA or mobile phone.
