Deal to acquire tightening technology specialist Technisches Buero Boehm GmbH (TBB) of Germany
Hemel Hempstead, UK — Industrial power tools manufacturer Atlas Copco Tools is to acquire Technisches Buero Boehm GmbH (TBB) of Bavaria, Germany, Atlas Copoco announced 28 Nov.
TBB is a 30-employee firm, which specialises in services and consultancy for tightening technologies and a distributor of Atlas Copco Tools products. According to Atlas Copco, the German operation will join its Tools and Assembly Systems unit but continue to trade under its current name.
The acquisition “will strengthen our offering in the service and consulting area and improve our base for strong growth,” said Fredrik Moeller, business area president of Atlas Copco Industrial Technique.
