With Aqu@view, Christ now offers a new monitoring and evaluation system for water-treatment plants. Based on a special software which is integrated into the user interface, this system permits the implementation of comprehensive recorder functions as well as data acquisition, archiving and evaluation. Remote operation of the plant is also available as an option. The standardised user interface permits easy operation and also improves the reliability by external data evaluation and early detection of faults. The in-house costs for operation and maintenance of the pure water system are reduced.
The recorder functions of Aqu@view comply with the requirements laid down in 21 CFR Part 11. Long-term archiving of the data is supported: up to 520 million records can be saved on currently available memory cards. The data can also be displayed graphically. Data export is possible in all commonly used formats with full compliance with the rules for protection against falsification. This is true even for the export to Excel, since hash codes are generated and evaluated. If desired, the layout of the reports is designed specifically for each customer and the report is produced fully formatted.
With the aid of Aqu@view, the operational data of a pure water system can be transmitted at predefined intervals to the Christ server. If desired, the data are evaluated there in order to document the continuous reliability of the system and, in addition, to permit any necessary recommendations with respect to preventive maintenance and timely detection of faults. This allows for rapid assistance if a fault occurs.
Optionally, Christ also offers remote operation of the pure water system. This not only supports and monitors regular maintenance activities, but also passes on critical system conditions such as alarms, accompanied by fault diagnosis via remote access. If any parameters are changed, an audit trail and a change control in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11 is generated. After any intervention in the system, Christ provides a final report and, if necessary a risk analysis and change control.
On new systems, Aqu@view can be integrated into the user interface of the pure water system without the need for additional hardware; this makes it easy to use. Aqu@view can be retrofitted easily on existing systems by simply replacing the operator panel and installing a software update.
