Software firm among top UK innovators

London -- Curvaceous Software Ltd has been shortlisted for the Innovation in Industry award at the inaugural Best of British Industry Awards. The event recognises innovation that has improved companies, industry, the economy or society.

Curvaceous’s Geometric Process Control (GPC) technology is designed to simplify the management, sharing, visualisation and extraction of information from large amounts of experimental and operational data.

According to the company, GPC can provide solutions to problems that have previously seemed insoluble. The process technology has already won awards from the European Process Safety Centre (EPSC), the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), the Chemical Industry Association (CIA) and most recently The Institute of Engineering and Technology.

The Best of British Industry Awards are an initiative by The Sunday Times, AMEC and The Work Foundation to showcase the best of British industry. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 8 Feb at the Tate Modern.
