Della Sala will lead Foster Wheeler's global engineering & construction and power groups
Hamilton, Bermuda – Foster Wheeler Ltd has elected Umberto della Sala to newly created role of president and chief operating officer, effective immediately. He assume responsibility for the company's two business groups: the Global Engineering and Construction (E&C) Group and the Global Power Group, said a 31 Jan company statement.
A 33-year Foster Wheeler veteran, della Sala has served in various engineering, commercial and operational roles in both Europe and North America. His previous roles include CEO of the Global E&C Group, and president and CEO of the Global E&C Group's Continental Europe business unit.
