New Drives & Motors Catalogue from ABB
2 Feb 2007
The 2007 issue of ABB’s 44-page drives and motors catalogue is now available.
The full-colour publication provides technical details of ABB’s range of low voltage AC drives from 0.18 to 2,800 kW and motors from 0.06 to 710 kW. It also presents ABB’s range of DC and medium voltage AC drives. Easy-to-use tables give ordering data, dimensions, options and electrical details for most products, together with prices for 2007.
The brochure details all the latest developments. For example, ABB’s industrial drives now include motion control software throughout the range. In addition, 200-400kW industrial drive modules have shed 20kg in weight, while liquid-cooled versions of industrial drives have shrunk in size by up to 50% compared with their air-cooled counterparts. Upgrades to ABB standard drives include a size reduction of between 25 and 45% in some models, FlashDrop programming and customer-programmable load curves. ABB’s new range of machinery drives and motors for high-precision applications are also featured for the first time. The brochure describes ABB’s ATEX-approved packages, which combine hazardous area motors with the appropriate standard drives and industrial drives.
New services include DrivesActive, which provides 24/7 support, while DrivesActive+ is a lifecycle management programme for critical equipment. DrivesAdvantage completes the new service portfolio with installation, start-up and after-sales support. In terms of software, the catalogue details integration and programming tools, start-up and maintenance tools, as well as engineering tools.
A faxback form enables readers to request further information, such as fact files and technical guides on subjects such as energy efficiency, harmonics and bearing currents.
