UV disinfection firm opens in China

London – Hanovia has opened a sales office in Shanghai, China. The unit is being headed by Peter Wang, who has recently been appointed as the company’s sales manager for China.

The Shanghai office will link the company into the rapidly growing UV disinfection market in China, according to Craig Howarth, managing director of Hanovia -- a UK manufacturer of ultraviolet disinfection systems for water, wastewater, air and surface disinfection.

“We have already won large contracts from Chinese water treatment system builders ... We are also in the process of establishing reference sites for our ultraviolet systems in both industrial and swimming pool installations,” said Howarth.
