Welded Process Gauge And Diaphragm Seal Reduces Cost And Leak Potential

An all-welded process gauge and diaphragm seal from AMETEK U.S. Gauge offers lower cost and reduced leak potential compared with separate gauge and seal. The new XR-81 combines the rugged SOLFRUNT® 1982 process gauge with stainless steel internals with an AMETEK M&G diaphragm seal. The seal is available with either 316L stainless steel or Hasselloy® C wetted parts. The all-welded design and seamless Bourdon tube provide fewer leak paths than competitive models.
Standard units have a female top for instrument connection and ½ NPT male bottom for process connection. Additional connections and materials are available for a wide range of oil, gas and other chemical process applications including crude oil, molten sulphur, slurry oil, asphalt and high pressure boiler feed water.
