Flowserve Gestra Steams Into Newbury

Flowserve Gestra, the boilerhouse products and systems arm of Flowserve Flow Control has relocated its operation from Haywards Heath to premises in Newbury, Berkshire.

General Manager Andy Hole explains that the move comes as part of the creation of a centre of excellence for several Flowserve businesses forming a UK Power Group.

“These businesses share a common ground of expertise and specialisation in the steam and power generation market”, says Mr Hole. “The Power Group comprises of Limitorque (electric actuators), NAF (isolation and control valves), Edwards (high pressure/temperature globe valves) and Gestra which brings over a century of dedicated expertise in boilerhouse products and steam distribution systems to the Group.”

Gestra’s new location is just minutes from the M4 and A34, providing convenient access from all directions. The company moved to Haywards Heath from Hitchin, Hertfordshire in 2001 and became part of Flowserve two years later.
