AMEC in new Petrochina Dushanzi contract

Multi-million dollar contract to manage, HSE, quality assurance and control over next two-years
London – Petrochina Dushanzi Petrochemical Co. has appointed AMEC as the integrated project management team (IPMT) contractor on its Dushanzi refinery and ethylene technical reformation project in western China.
Project management and services company AMEC is to manage safety, health and environmental and quality assurance and control over the two-year “multi-million dollar” contract, AMEC said 14 May.
The deal marks AMEC's second major contract on the $3.5-billion petrochemical expansion project for which it has already provided project management, engineering, planning, cost management, HSE, quality assurance and consultancy services.
