Malvern expands rheology team in Europe

Malvern, UK -- Malvern Instruments has made two Germany-based appointments to its rheology applications sales and support team in Europe, the company announced 10 May.

Veit Zshuppe has joined Malvern from Thermo Haake as rheology applications sales manager Europe, while Gérald Chabanis of the Malvern GmbH team has moved to the role of rheology support and application specialist europe.

Zshuppe has a degree in polymer physics and significant experience in the field of rheology - in sales, marketing and applications - both from his time at Thermo Haake and previously with Rheometrics.

Chabanis gained a degree in chemistry at FH Münster in Germany. He joined Bohlin Instruments in 2001, moving to Malvern with its acquisition of that company in 2003. He has extensive experience of customer and applications support.
