BP awards pipe contract to Technip
Paris – BP has awarded Technip a Euro90-million engineering, procurement and construction contract for the flexible pipes for the Skarv FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading) in the Norwegian part of the North Sea.
Technip’s operations and engineering center in Oslo will execute the contract, which covers flexible risers, flexible jumpers and associated equipment. The group’s Flexi France plant in Le Trait, France will manufacture the pipes, which are scheduled for delivery in March 2010.
