The MTN/1195 has a 29mm hexagonal base and is 42mm high, making it suitable for use in applications where space is at a premium. Neill Ovenden, Monitran’s Sales & Marketing Director, comments: “Electrically, the 1195 is the same as our popular 1185 accelerometer, but its compact design means it’s easier to install where space is at a premium.”
The accelerometer weighs 95g and has a stainless steel enclosure, sealed to IP67. It is supplied with screened, two-core cable lengths as standard and accepts input voltages in the range 12 to 32V DC (for 4 to 20mA operation). The frequency response range is 2Hz to 1kHz ±10% and the operating temperature range is -25 to 90oC (with a temperature sensitivity of 0.08%/oC).
Ovenden concludes: “Having the properties of our 1185 in a smaller can makes the MTN/1195 an extremely versatile transducer. Also, whilst this is the first Monitran product to undergo a size reduction it will not be the last.”
The MTN/1195 is available immediately.
