Brussels Honeywell is entering the flow meter market with a new range of flow meters, called VersaFlow, which are to be manufactured by process devices maker Krohne to Honeywell specifications for applications across a range of industries.
The range, which features electromagnetic, Coriolis, ultrasonic and Vortex flow meters and will be distributed and supported on a global basis through Honeywell’s existing sales and distribution channels, said a Honeywell statement
Honeywell is targeting a strategic expansion of its field-device portfolio, according to Revathi Advaithi, vice president and general manager of Honeywell Field Solution. “Our customers were asking for more types of process measurement devices compatible with our automation and control solutions,” he said.
“By combining Krohne¹s expertise and Honeywell¹s global sales and support network, we¹re giving our customers exactly what they want a single source for Level 1 field devices and system solution,” added Advaithi.
