The man chosen to spearhead Apollo Metals’ drive into India is experienced entrepreneur Gopi Hanumanthappa who has an engineering background and a professional qualification in metallurgy from one of Indias’ premier institutes, NIIT in Durgapur.
Gopi Hanumanthappa has spent 17 years with commercial operations in India at the highest level. These include Indal, Hindalco and Tyco, spanning both General Manager and Director roles. Gopi says: “I am delighted to be appointed as Apollo Metals first General Manager for India. I believe my experience in global market development, national sales, operations and supply chain projects will help Apollo Metals to quickly establish themselves here as a major player in the local aerospace and associated industries marketplace.”
