New Eyris software gives fast access to Eurotherm graphic recorders
26 Nov 2007
Eurotherm has released a new visualisation package EyrisTM to provide an easy to configure and simple to use PC package accessing Eurotherm Data Management 5000/6000 series graphic recorders.
The new Eyris for Data Management software package from Invensys provides a builder environment to connect to the recorders and a browser window for direct access to the recorder bridge sessions.
“We designed Eyris to be simple to install and easy to configure to provide instant access to all connected devices. Eyris can then provide a plant overview while also allowing quick and easy access to individual instruments”, said Product Manager Simon Windust.
The overview allows users to identify trouble spots in a quick and dynamic manner so that, at a glance, you can see exactly what needs attending to within the network. Importantly, Eyris software offers the raw power needed to react in a timely manner from any networked location which can be located anywhere in the world.
From the Eyris Builder facility, users can create a working solution by scanning a network to create an Eyris project. The scan auto-detects all Eurotherm 5000 and 6000 series paperless graphic recorders over a company network or WAN. A default configuration of viewable pages gives the easiest route to data, while a selection of custom pages which can be easily configured covers other user needs.
Eyris for Data Management offers the power and information needed to react in a timely manner no matter where the instrumentation is located. In fact any plant dispersed over a large area will benefit from Eyris from Invensys Eurotherm.
