Input from plastic fabricators from around the world has contributed to the design of the Leister Weldplast S2, a small but power-packed hand tool capable of extruding up to 2.5kg/h of welding material. It is aimed at PP and PE fabricators producing tanks, drums and pipework for the water and process industries. Features include an integral, maintenancefree air blower and a multi-functional electronic display. Also, there are a double-sided, twist-free welding rod feeder, low-noise drive mechanism and 360° rotating shoe for operating in awkward spaces.
