Acquisition of the Peerless Pump Company is the largest ever made by the Danish pump manufacturer and underlines its aggressive growth strategy. Peerless has its HQ in Indianapolis, plus five other facilities in North America, a staff of 400 and a turnover of USD 110m. Its addition gives Grundfos a range of high-end products that is recognised as one of two most popular water pump brands in the US. Peerless fire protection systems are expected to offer global opportunities. Grundfos will continue to invest 4% of sales turnover in R&D each year.
