Makita
21 May 2008
Makita power tools are being used in the extensive, four-year renovation project of the iconic Flying Scotsman engine at the National Railway Museum in York.. The plan is to bring the engine back to full certification, so it can again run on British rail lines. Completion is due in the summer of 2009. The engineering team’s tool kit includes angle grinders, drills and sanders. They provide accuracy and precision and are comfortable and safe to use, giving engineers both reliability and power, says UK national sales manager, construction division, Charles Shaw.
