One-part, Photo Electro Formed (PEF) sieves and meshes can now be produced by Tecan for the most demanding industrial applications that require unparalleled levels of screening, filtering and particulate processing. Also, they have operational lifetimes many times greater than conventional wire-woven sieves. One recent new customer is iron powder producer Hoganas (Great Britain) Ltd. It has found that adoption of a 45-micron square aperture Tecan sieve has overcome previous QC problems when using six sieves in a progressive vibratory stack system.
