Dr Ian Stewart has been appointed CEO for the company’s operations in the UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has been managing director of VWS in the German-speaking countries since 2004 and takes over from Roger Mudd, who becomes chairman. The companies under Ian’s responsibility employ around 1,000 people and have a joint turnover in excess of £150 million. Stewart says VWS “can offer the complete supply range of water treatment solutions” and has the capacity “to continue to grow profitably in coming years”.
