ROCOL

Glasgow-based SMW, which produces waste-derived fuel from sewage sludge, has teamed-up with ROCOL on a preventative maintenance programme to minimise the risk of premature equipment failure on its six-year old plant. Two operational difficulties that have been overcome are lubrication of the bearings of regenerative thermal oxidisers and the simplification of pipework from the auto lubrication system to drying drum rollers. “ROCOL service engineers have made an extremely positive contribution,” says senior maintenance engineer Iain Russell. www.rocol.com
