Tranter acquires Pressko of Germany

Pressko has focused on high pressure, high temperature, fully welded products for markets including refrigeration, chemical, pharmaceutical and marine applications.
Manchester, UK - Tranter International AB, a supplier of gasket and welded heat exchanger products and technology, has acquired Pressko AG of Artern, Germany. The move is part of Tranter’s strategy to acquire businesses with growth potential in its key markets.
Since its launch in 2000, Pressko has focused on high pressure, high temperature, fully welded products for markets including refrigeration, chemical, pharmaceutical and marine applications.
“With worldwide sales of $8 million, Pressko will become part of Tranter’s European operation strengthening our welded product base in one of the world’s most significant heat exchanger markets,” commented Torbjörn Lantz, European managing director.
