UK systems integrator for Syria plant relocation

Portishead, UK – Process system integrators, DPS (Bristol) Ltd has won a project in Syria around the disassembly of the Al Dobayat gas gathering station and its relocation and re-assembly 185km away at the North Al Hussin Gas Field.
The plant will be reconstructed and accommodate the tie in of six flow lines from the wellheads to the gas station. The project also includes the construction of a 36km transmission pipe line to the North Middle Area Gas Project GTP and branch to Aleppo Gas Pipeline.
DPS have been given the responsibility for engineering the relocation of the plant to the North Al Hussin gas field, owned by Syrian Gas Co., and specifying any new equipment and tie-ins required. This will involve looking at the engineering and items required to move a production facility from one location to another, making use of existing equipment and specifying any new equipment required to maximise the efficiency of the facilities output.
