Leeds, UK – Yorkshire-based Klinger is to supply Western Australia’s North Rankin and Perseus gas fields. The company, which designs, manufactures and distributes quality sealing products for global industries, will supply gaskets for the North West Shelf Venture, which includes the installation of a second offshore platform and a link bridge to the existing platform.
The project takes Klinger to in excess of £10million in international sales this year, its managing director Alan Bates commenting: “This is a major addition to our expanding export business and testimony to the hard work of our Yorkshire engineering and sales teams. We now have an international client base of 200 customers, across 40 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Far East and Australasia.”
Klinger has invested in the latest optical measuring equipment, water-jet cutting technology and high-precision knife-cutting equipment to meet the bespoke requirements of the sector. The company recently added aerospace and defence to its established oil, gas and petrochemicals business.
