Work-based degree champions need your feedback
9 Nov 2010
London – Skills and training body Cogent is seeking feedback for the industry experts, who have been appointed as champions for the Working Higher project – an initiative intended to help increase skills levels throughout the refining, chemicals, polymers, nuclear and bioscience sectors.
The champions’ remit is to strengthen the bridge between universities and industry, and help develop and roll-out of modular, work-based foundation-degrees for technicians and operators. Each works alongside a partner university to develop the course content and delivery mechanism for their particular sector.
The industry champions are carrying out consultations with employers and are keen to talk to people about how these work-based programmes can be tailored to the needs of your organisation.
