Skills academy accreditation for Pilz machinery safety training

London — The National Skills Academy has awarded Pilz Automation Technology full accreditation as a skills training provider for its 1, 2 and 4-day City & Guilds (C&G) machinery safety courses.
These courses are accredited across all nine industries under the Proskills UK Group, including paper, print, glass, coatings, wood, ceramics, building products, furniture, extractive and mineral processing industries.
Machinery safety company Pilz Automation Technology has achieved accreditation with The National Skills Academy for Materials, Production and Supply, for its one-, two- and four-day C&G machinery safety training courses.
Pilz’s four-day C&G machinery safety course provides attendees with the knowledge that will help them to demonstrate a level of competency in machinery safety. It is suitable for people who have responsibility for existing or new machinery, including maintenance engineers, engineering/project managers, design engineers and manufacturers.
The company also offers a two-day course aimed specifically at managers and a 1-day course for supervisors. Both cover the application of EU Regulations and standards for machinery safety, explaining the responsibilities for managers and supervisors under the current legislation.
